Letter from the Administrator

Greetings and salutations from the residents and staff at Lincoln Residential Center. As summer whines down and we look forward to Autumn and cooler weather, we will remember the summer of 2019 here at Lincoln Residential Center and all the exciting outings and activities that have taken place. Summer has been great for the residents and the outdoor activities have been awesome. Community outings to local and area restaurants are always enjoyable for the residents and they always comment on the quality of the food. The recreation department is preparing for Halloween activities, and the residents are booming with anticipation of all the goodies that will be present. Each year we have a pumpkin carving contest which include all halls in competition to see what resident/staff teams can create the most unique pumpkin display. Last years’ winners were Pine Hall who used “The Wizard of OZ” theme to take first place, so they have enjoyed bragging rights for a whole year, but will have to defend their title as champions this year. The residents and staff take pride in this competition, working hard to present the best possible pumpkin display that they can to represent their halls. Although it is a competition, at the end of the day, they are all winners. We have an awesome group of residents and staff here at Lincoln Residential Center and we are thankful for each and every one of them.
