Some of the young men of Lincoln had the chance to visit the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum. There are eight galleries that focus on the years 1945–1976 when Mississippi was ground zero for the national Civil Rights Movement and they also had the chance to visit the Museum of Mississippi History where they experienced the stories of our past from 13,000 BC to present day here in Mississippi. This was an awesome experience for all that visited both museums. The pictures include are of the inside of both museums, the photos on the wall is mug shots of the Mississippi Freedom Riders. We had the privilege of meeting one of the Freedom Rider during our visit to the museum.
